| ROSS B AY User Info... | Let's see here... 1) One or two of those little guitar stands. 2) A decent bass cab, preferably 4 x 12. 3) Octave pedal for the geetar. 4) An old used mic and shitty stand. 5) Like about 10 milk crates. 6) One 15 inch used, loud bass speaker. 7) Some kind of cheap beat up hardshell guitar case that fits an epiphone. 8) Same for bass. 9) Shitty old smaller coffee table. However.....I was once one of those "if it isnt expensive its crap" Sure, i have awesome gear, but the 20,000$ worth of gear i have has definately cost me 25,000$ by now. Plus with any chance of selling the shit in the future i will probably get 40% TOPS so i have about 10,000$ (wishful thinking) worth of gear that i paid 25,000$ for. Then we talk insurance, bastards. I am a slave to my fucking debt. So when i came on here to get rid of gear, all i got was stupid emails from kiddies offering me 50$ for something i list at 500$. Although, i did get 950$ for my strat which i paid 1500$ for 5 years earlier, that was cool. And it was fucking worth it too. Since i smartened up, about 6 months ago, i have been downsizing and buying 500$ guitars instead of 2000$. I dont think i will be spending 2000$ for an axe until i have cash in hand. Which for me is never. BUY CHEAP! And,,,,,Ross, i have a case for you. It is at the jam spot with a FREE note on it. It was there last night so i will check for you agin tomorrow. Anyone can say.."Just keep it", but any musician out there knows, the gear buying never stops. Fender Strat: Paid 1500 Sold 950$ Net worth: -550$ Les Paul: Paid 1800$ Sold 900$ Net worth: -900$ D8 Track: Paid 1500$ Sold 400$ Net Worth:-1100$ Keyboard fucking things: 600$ Sold: 250$ Net worth -350$ Drum machine:600$ Sold: 200 Net worth - 400 Total Cost of above gear on credit card (10.5%): 4850$ ..add a bit of interest 5700$ Total amount recieved from selling gear:2500$ End financial cost: Loss of 3200$ Without the GEAR!!! So i am selling my gear to pay for my gear. Doesnt make sense does it. Now, i buy shit second hand, and i have been able to get more gear that way. Oh yeah,.,,,,,If you buy guitars second hand, say a Jackson Flying V for 300$, the max $$$ loss you will take even if you sell it 10 years later will be only 100$ (any guitar is worth 200$ in ok shape). I know this guy that got busted stealing milk crates, and now he's looking at some serious jail time, i'm talking con-college, full scholarship. They are fricking hard to find and friggin well guarded, so i can give'em to you for $10 a unit, thats not bad considering the risk involved. I doubt you will find a better deal, let alone a MF'r as crazy as i am to find them for you, let me know.
