Best part = monitor lighting on fire during Unleash the Archers set. I thought it was fitting seeing as they were slaying so fucking hard. - Sun, 25 Apr 2010 11:32am

Fun night overall!

Rotterdam were happy to throw some support behind a great cause. This one hits close to home. We will be getting a Big One in the future and may need help from others.

All the bands did very well. The sound was unreal for the room and being an all ages show. Good crowd and the young enthusiasts at the front kept the energy up well! JMF's son, Zac did great as the conductor of the evening. He deserved all his swag most definitely!

Excellent food! Home cooked Chilean deliciousness!

Congrats to 13 Flames Productions for a triumphant return to the island! Looking forward to future shows! - Sun, 25 Apr 2010 8:28pm

A bum fight? Thats hilarious. I was getting gas when every friggen cop car in Duncan sped past. When I drove by boys rd they had it blocked off from both directions. Looked like a murder scene. - Mon, 26 Apr 2010 11:43am

great day! great bands! awesome people! AMAZING Empanadas! Still hoping some video of the monitor erupting into flame will turn up..

The next night in Nanaimo - Braydens amp blew up ( well ok, it was just a tube going up in a puff of smoke ) but luckily the guitarist from Ravensun had his Boogie on hand, he set it up for Brayden then promptly went out into the crowd and punched out some hobo who was harassing his girlfriend... Oh and some crackhead outside the venue tried to attack me when I was loading my gear in GOTTA LOVE NANAIMO!! - Mon, 26 Apr 2010 2:36pm

yeah what WAS going on with the bass there? Kept falling off or something? It looked like you were having a few technical difficulties haha. I shouldn't talk, I had some major wireless issues that caused about a 5 minute delay in between songs when we switched guitars. I am the constant source of gear issues. - Tue, 27 Apr 2010 1:19pm
