Pooetry, I keep forgetting people I've run into not from the drinking (which does play a factor), but because I'm really nervous around crowds so I forget faces and names. Self medicating isn't a cool way to dealing with the issue, but it's much easier then taking anti-depressants. Obnoxious? Always have been, it's my flaw. Beats me why I'm trying to explain my actions, though. Perhaps I need to try to focus on something else as a more creative way to deal with my angst. I too have a hard time controlling my rate of consumption when I'm nervous. I am practically on a drinking diet. If I'm just at home I can have a couple drinks and be fine but if I go out I have to actaully pay attention to how much I drink per hour and force myself to have water rounds. I drink the water just as fast as the booze so I believe it is a nervous habit more than an inclination towards alcoholism. My bf does his part by reminding me, when we're out, to slow down or drink some water. My last big blackout was New Years at Tolmie and I resolved to never get like that again. I'm sorry that _Griphin_ had to quit under more severe circumstances but everything happens for a reason. What those assholes did to him is unforgivable but he did need some kind of wake-up call. The last thing I remember about that night is when everyone was yelling "happy new year" I went and took a big piss on the house next door and Lew was all yelling at me; "HAHAHA, way to ring in the new year ya drunk fuck!!" after that the next thing I remember is Flee talking to me about something at 5am I wasn't really comprehending and Ammut was pulling on my arm trying to get me to cab it home telling me the party was over and no one else was there.
