| OftenBongSoong User Info... | just got wind of this today.. thought i would do a little promo for it.. the iskra boys are in montreal and on there way back across canada.. they will be playing their final tour date in the basement with a selection of local bands.. all of which are yet to be confirmed. i will post as soon as i know. this show will be by a donation as the last show we got fucked around by the bylaw because we put a price on the poster.. anyway.. not much here..i'll post more when i know. | OftenBongSoong User Info... | we're gonna talk to the people next door and let them know.. but i don't think we want to have bands playing later than 1 am... so far we havn't had any trouble with cops. last time somebody got pulled over comign to the house right out front. its not that loud on the street, so as long as somebody doesn't do something stupid.. the neighbors are fine with it. hopefully drunk friendly football tackles on the front lawn will be kept to a minimum. 6 bands is alot.. it would really suck to get shut down by the pigs. hopefully we'll see you all there.. ps. is it a burnside show if doug doesn't play!?!?! - Sun, 23 May 2004 6:34pm | ||

| brad User Info... | The Cloak are amazing..and are quickly becoming favorites around here for good reason. It would be nice if the bands could somehow pre-arrange gear etc. like having most bands use the same guitar cabs and the same bass cab or something, drummers will have to have their shit together and have their kits set up before hand and just move one out and then one in...BWD will be playing first so no one has to sit and watch that fucking lame ass rockstar wannabe drummer of thiers take a millenium to get things "just right"...(fucking poser)...and with this many bands - space WILL BE AN ISSUE...so storage will be hard to come by, perhaps a garage clean up will be in order to make some extra room... - Mon, 24 May 2004 10:57am | ||
