| _Griphin_ User Info... | OK, I was hoping to buy more local CDs this weekend, perhaps later this week. Here's my reviews... The Hoosegow-The Last Buffet: A little rough, but worth a listen. Bastards covered Pay to Come by Bad Brains (I wanted to play that tune :( ) Pretty punk, gonna be a shame not seeing this band as often as I want to, but that's just me. House of Commons-Patriot 12 Inch: It slays, not a bad track on it, and it was released 22 years ago. Still stands the test of time. If you find it on vinyl, you're lucky!!! Mission of Christ-Silence in Grave Demo 87/Demo 89: No wonder everyone's stoked on this, it rocks!!! | Zippgunn User Info... | I hate to spilt hairs here but why do you insist on calling these "demos"? The HOC was a full blown vinyl release and two of the MOC songs came out on a split 7" with Fratricide. These aren't demos the way I see demos being "demonstration" recordings; predecessors to "real" recordings.I always say that I don't do demos; I do recordings. Calling it a demo somehow makes it not quite as good than if it were a "real" recording. - Fri, 21 May 2004 6:28am | ||
