Rotterdam combine the pounding beats of rock with the grinding guitars of metal and add groovy elements of southern rock to create music that is heavy enough to keep the elitists from complaining yet catchy enough to keep their girlfriends enjoying the show. Featuring former members of Meatlocker Seven, Pariah, Desensitized and Start With The Cobra among many other previous projects, this band was made to keep your head moving and keep your mouth full of boozy beverages. | Mr. Hell User Info... | Strong turn out. Dead Eyes Open were tight and really good guys. They were without their front man for this show, but they all handled vocal duty well and he was barely missed. We felt our set went well. The sound on stage was alright, except for the backwards monitor mixes (when will monitor men learn that guitarists want the other guy's guitar in the monitor in front of them?), and fluctuating vocal mix causing bad feedback. Out front the sound was great all night thanks to Myke Hall. Having Shawn and Scott come up and go nuts to Bury Me In Smoke was entertaining. Black Hat Villain were eliciting the screams from the crowd and put on a solid set. Again, great sound for these guys. Thanks to Shawn and Scott for treating us all well and making it happen!
