I think the price you were quoted comes from the fact that Prairie Plant Systems was paid 5.7 Million dollars for the contract. The government claims now that it has withheld some of the money in light of poor quality control. (There was too much variability in the seeds used.) http://www.medicalmarihuana.ca/flinflon.html I wonder who exactly owns Prairie Plant Systems, because you can bet it ain't no ganja-loving farmer. My guess is whoever it is was tight with Alan Rock personally. Only friends of politicians get such sweet deals. They should have chosen someone who loves to grow weed and someone who truly cares about the people who will be using it.
