| GoReD User Info... | Something seriously has to be done about the lack of venues in the Vancouver Area. Over the years, cornerstone venues that gave local and international bands a lot of exposure have been shut down by either the slumlords, the City of Vancouver (cough cough vanoc) or some other pathetic reasoning. In looking outside of the vancouver area, I have noticed that there are a LOT of quality venues left on Victoria Island and in Washington State. So thats where my bands are heading, until Vancouver gets thier shit together, I urge other local bands to boycott the vancouver "Music Scene" and get some shows and exposure where it counts, NOT IN VANCOUVER - Thu, 12 Nov 2009 1:46pm | ||

| denny User Info... | Losing The Cobalt was a tough blow for the punk community, but there is still great shows nearly every night in this city meaning there is obviously still places to play.
