| Mr. Horse User Info... | Ok back to the Future Shop sucking. My girlfriend purchased a Macbook from these fine re distributors 8 months ago with a Future Shop extended warranty. She was under the impression that she purchased an applecare warranty. Not so. The laptop stopped working one night so Shelly took it back to the Langford Future Shop, two weeks later they told her that the laptop had water damage and it was not covered and they also charged her 44 bucks for a diagnostic fee. It was then that i realized that the unit had 4 months left on the apple warranty so i took it to SOHO computers. The tech there said that there was NO indication of water damage and that the motherboard would be covered and replaced at no charge. We were lucky that apple covered the parts and labour as the Future Shop's so called tech was not a certified applecare tech.
