It's too bad Napalm Death didn't sound like they did during the Inside the Torn Apart part of their career, but there always changing the way they sound, so I dunno. When I first saw the album, I didn't realize it was the same band, cause it sounded different. BTW: ItTA is probably one of the best albums for that style of music, this CD rocks. Breed to Breathe is insane!!! - Mon, 25 Apr 2005 11:20am

too bad they don't sound like the Scum and Death By Manipulation era anymore. but still, this album is a better offering than I've heard from them in awhile. - Tue, 26 Apr 2005 3:48pm

Griphin I totally disagree with you. I hawked my ItTA CD after owning it for 6 months, and gave it probably 10 listens over before I decided that their vocalist was too shitty to enjoy their band. Hacks like greenway make terms like 'cookie-monster vocals' stick. - Sat, 30 Apr 2005 4:39pm

Wow you didn't like it? Interesting. The CD never gets boring with me, it never has and never will. Lets see what they have to say about the CD...

Napalm Death entered the metal society in 1986. An offspring of the punk scene that was dominating their homeland of England. They originally set out to create the fastest-anticorporate/government-extreme music possible. In that process they invented the term "Grindcore". A sublevel "Bassey" Downtuned guitar sound, combined with "Spastic Blur" drum beats and punk influenced vocal lines. After all these years and all the trends these UK lads have stayed true. True in fact that they have never abandoned their roots. They have added new elements to their sound but, underneath will always lie the swarming riffs, whirlwind drums, grinding bass, and monstrous vocals that have kept their fan base worldwide. There no nonsense approach and consistant determination to stay ahead of the scene has kept this band alive while others were pushed to the graveyard.

Awesome songs: Bleed to Breathe, Refect on Conflict (amazing riffs) and If Symptoms Persist (that central riff is pretty amazing). Thumbs UP!!! - Sat, 30 Apr 2005 7:15pm
