please come to the movie Please come and view HOBO CAMP: THE MOVIE, starring Reg Lech, Todd Combo, Haydn Catclaw, Jane Zoomers and Carey Mercer. Here's what the Georgia Straight had to say about Hobo Camp: "Re-defines short cinema and gives a voice to the downtrodden; those urban trappers and silent derelicts that have fallen into shadow. As visually striking as Ataranjuat, as political as Marx, as philosophical as that wise medieval thinker Boethius--a Cannery Row for us all." Viewing will be free and occur at 7 at the David Lam auditorium at Uvic on friday, july 27th. - Thu, 26 Jun 2003 11:12am

Carey: Your lies will catch up to you and then tangle around your feet like so many squid tentacles, tripping you up, bringing you crashing to the ground where your perspective may be a little more realistic.

The Georgia Strait totally panned the film and you so know it.

I, however, will be there... if you recall.

Mr Mercer:

If you do not read the thread after you start it, no one will take your internet posting seriously, much like your 'film-making'.

That said, I really am quite looking forward to the cinema this eve.
