Hey its my birthday again ... anyone who wants to come celebrate with me i'm doing another show (anyone remember last year at the Cambie??) and it was fun meeting a bunch of you and having you come down. So if your into it...

Anyway Saturday June 14th @ Logan's Pub (Thursdays)
one of my favourite live bands is playing
Moneen, with Selfmade man (Montreal) and Counterfit (San Diego) and my good friends One Drop. It's $10 due to the wealth of out of town acts... there's links to all the bands in the live music section.. If you do come down come say hi =) - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 1:02am
oldie geez, last years party was sweeet. guess those days are over. 4 shitty bands for 10 bones. nope. - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 6:26am
some girl... Why are the bands "shitty"? Where and when did you see all of them?

Scott deserves all of us going and dishing out an entire $10 because he puts up with our childish bickering/slagging. Why do you have to be negative when all Scott wants to do is be nice and extend invitations to have fun-->regardless of music preferences?!? - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 11:36am
don Some Girl, no need to add to what you said, you summed it up nicely, so I'm just here to hack oldie for a bit.

Oldie, dumped from welfare again hey. I agree with you--at a cost of $2.50 a band the cost of live music is becoming far too outrageous--the good old days are gone. Thank god you can stay home and write reviews of your mouldy basement apartment instead, that kicks ass over touring bands and some local talent playing a show. I suggest you also write a post called the "constipated cynic" where you don't listen to different CD's, and then you offer your opinion about them while straining away on your leaking--possibly filthy--toilet--watch out for the inevitable distended rectum. If the surrounding aroma of stale urine doesn't stimulate some criticism I don't know what will. After that I see a shift in your career, something along the lines of not reading books for the National Post review section or not seeing movies for E! magazine. If you're ever criticised for uninformed critisism, if someone has the nerve to to tell you that opinions are like assholes, you can look at them and, while oozing sincerity, you can ask whether or not opinions are distended too? - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 12:29pm
SweetGrass Yah! Well said Don.
Oldie get over yourself. Scott I'll definitly toast your birthday! Maybe the Monkey will make an appearance too. - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 3:29pm
