| Ent_Ausserung | YOU SAW THAT DEATH FROM ABOVE BAND? Yeah, the two-piece with the drunk bassist, that played with the Red Light Sting a couple o' months back? Uh-huh. Okay, well Femme Fatale is comprised of those two plus some other fellow Ontario residents. They're playing on Wednesday at Thursdays Pub. It's going to be six dollars, which is ridiculously cheap when you consider the amount of people performing for you, the calibre (of the highest) of original songs (and compositions) performed, and the ability to drink in the same room with a lot of swell-looking, big-thinking folks, some of which have been to college, or university. YOU SEEN THAT GHOSTS BAND? While their friends might not necessarily appreciate the Sonic Assaults or lengthy compositions from this quartet, it has been proven almost completely that this band, for some reason or not, appeals to rocker guys. It might be because they're loud, it's not because of their hair. It's probably Peter, he's a really good drummer. YOU BEEN TO THAT BAR? Thursdays Pub. At 1821 Cook St. They have this really weird squash club in the back of the building, accessible through this one door (very "Lion, Witch and The Wardrobe"). One time I convinced Jesse to accompany me inside, it reeked of jock-sweat, but we found a half-empty Vodka cooler, which we gave to Adam. Adam, being poor (HE HAD MONO) and trusting (HE IS A GOOD PERSON) drank the swill. We laughed, but that was pretty juvenille. DO YOU HAVE ANY MONEY? Because it's six fucking dollars, so no complaints about just wanting to get a beer (NO - YOU WANT TO SEE THE BAND AND YOU'RE TRYING TO SNEAK IN), or whining about how you only want to play some pool(YOU'RE NO GOOD AT IT). WHY AREN'T YOU GOING? THE BOYS - Something better to do? You can score with some girl at Legend's? Let's be straight about this - you're a miserable failure at pursuing women and winning them over with your slumped-shouldered charm. That's why you listen to this shitty music. THE GIRLS - "It's loud, and the boys are ugly and don't shower." Okay, I will concede you that point.
