I can't wait for the new CD to drop, it sounded AWESOME from the Mp3's I heard off MP3.COM (they were unmastered, still, it rocked!!!). | ML7Mike | Too funny. Suck it up! Isnt it Interesting how ALL those people approached us, not the other way around.. that goes for all the signed bands we've done shows with too.. In reality we all approach this band as a hobby, not a business. Other people treat us as such. Its our method of stress release and keeps a few of us out of trouble with the law. Somehow along the way we've gained some solid fans. Part of our chemistry results from something many lack. Musical openmindedness. Between each band member we are influenced by everything from extreme blackmetal to grindcore, from punk to death metal. We are also old school.. I was listening to Bathory in 1986, Destruction in 1985 etc. Our musical metal interests are varied, in fact if we decided to go back to 100% extreme metal we'd crush at that too. But that was something we were all doing pre ML7. Although Tony does sing for Peruke, who are hands down the heaviest band in this city. Its also interesing that people have something to say, but without the balls to post their real name.. Is that so you can suck up to us at shows and act like you are our friend? It blew at their Soundgarden show ( coincidently, so did their other guitarists Peavey 5150..) Your next buddy! Actually, its no laughing matter.. Ive heard that in the heyday of band competitiveness in LA, other bands members would sabotage gear by pouring drinks into amps backstage and the like. | freindly fire | I think some of the reviews of ML7's newer stuff on garageband.com offer an honest insight to what people think of their music. Indeed you may notice any other time anything is ever mentioned about us, it isnt actually by any of us, and since 90% of our freinds are computer illiterate, it ain't by them either. In fact, until this dandy post came along, no talk of ML7 had taken place on this board for months ( with the exception of the liveshow announcents, and some stuff in the Where To Record thread ) In fact , we are the last bunch of guys to go around trying to self-glorify what we do.
