Salaminizer User Info... | Krisiun, Incantation and Hate Eternal are playing Richards on Richards! July 9th, I believe. Blows the Deicide show clear out of the water, doesn't it? - Wed, 13 Apr 2005 10:24am
ML7Mike User Info... | Into Eternity are hooking up with this tour at some point too I believe.. And Despised Icon wil be on the Deicide show in Van.. - Wed, 13 Apr 2005 11:24am

Mutilashawn User Info... | i doubt it, for one Misery Index is no longer on the bill and two Incan-fucking-tation!! - Wed, 13 Apr 2005 8:05pm
Nik Olaz User Info... | INCANTATION!! One of my personal favs. I just might try to make it, to also boo Krisiun. - Wed, 13 Apr 2005 10:58pm
Perpetual_Burn User Info... | JM, Oh if you had any idea what you're saying.......and Nik, you're fired from school. Now go eat bleach and die. - Thu, 14 Apr 2005 1:11pm
Nik Olaz User Info... | man i'm sorry, i forgot that bands with bricks in blenders for kicks were the next jesus. - Thu, 14 Apr 2005 10:45pm
Curmudgeon Rocker User Info... | That R. on R. show does sound quite intriguing. It'll make up for the last time Krisiun came around (with Cryptopsy and Slimmu-Burger) who got cancelled because of time constraints to accommodate the gay dancers who came in at 11 pm. Sure lookin' forward to seeing Derrick Roddy doing his thing. I'll bet it's just me, but I find, however, that H.E. has WAY too much "sameness" between songs, but there you go. 'tis sad about Misery Index cancelling. If Immolation and Skinless bow out, I'll sell my partents into slavery, at gunpoint. - Fri, 15 Apr 2005 9:04am
ML7Mike User Info... | good old Peter Timbre.. now he is promoting shows iN Victoria.. notably, Mare w/ The Cursed and Hunting Humans.. Which is unfortunate. - Fri, 15 Apr 2005 10:41am
Mutilashawn User Info... | got my ticket . . . horray excitement - Fri, 15 Apr 2005 11:25am
canon.docre User Info... | If you boo Krisiun you're a fucking idiot. - Mon, 18 Apr 2005 3:34pm
Curmudgeon Rocker User Info... | Eh you reverse-UFIA-claw enthusiast - if that comment was in reference to my post, then you misread it. If it wasn't, then I misread yours and must concur that indeed a Krisiun naysayer sounds like an oxymoron. I also don't know how to spell parints. Is this through ticketmaster? - Mon, 18 Apr 2005 7:01pm
Dr.DoomXXX User Info... | How much were the tix? Me and the wife are definately bent on making it to the Krisiun show. Would you believe that at the last show at the S.I.C.K. house a shit load of people there had never heard of them, pointing at shirt assking "Who's that?". - Mon, 18 Apr 2005 8:48pm
Nik Olaz User Info... | Krisiun lost all coolnes with Ageless Venemous. i'm sorry that i offended you all. - Mon, 18 Apr 2005 9:02pm
Anonymous User Info... | ok, we'll just ignore your "informed opinions" from now on then. now, where does one go to get tickets for this? edit: found it on ticketmaster. it's actually on july 7, a thursday, which sucks. - Mon, 18 Apr 2005 9:42pm
Platoon User Info... | I already have my DEICIDE tickets. DEICIDE is one of my favorite early American Death Metal bands. Scars of the Crucifix is a killer album, albeit a short album. If DEICIDE plays Dechristianize that one song would be worth the ticket price alone, if done well. - Mon, 25 Apr 2005 11:22pm
Mutilashawn User Info... | sorry buddy, but a) this show will rape Deicide and b) Vital Remains does Dechristianize ya' goof p.s. any band that refferences the "brotherhood of metal" (ie. Krisiun) totally rules in my book. Plus they kill live, Nik you of all people should know that! - Tue, 26 Apr 2005 12:15am
Platoon User Info... | Well Mutilashawn, if you can name who plays in DEICIDE I will be impressed. Just kidding, I wouldn't be impressed. - Tue, 26 Apr 2005 12:27am
Nik Olaz User Info... | i can name everyone in Deicide: Idiots. and while i can say that Krisiun pull off what they do on CD live, they still fall short of a band that could just easily have a tape recorder with blastbeats that someone starts and stops instead of hauling around their drum set. thats all i'm sayin!!!! - Tue, 26 Apr 2005 3:33am
Platoon User Info... | Well, two thirds of Vital Remains are in DEICIDE, so if you think DEICIDE are idiots, you think Vital Remains are idiots too. In either case I disagree plain and simple. - Tue, 26 Apr 2005 10:50am
ML7Mike User Info... | Id have considered Deicide if the Hoffmans were there, but otherwise, why bother. Really, Deicide havent done anything I care about since Legion. Platoon.. you must be Platoon who runs the metal radio in Nanaimo.. ? - Tue, 26 Apr 2005 10:57am
Platoon User Info... | Yep, that's me. Legion is an outstadning album. One reason I am so pumped about this show is because they don't come to this part of the world very often. DEICIDE has been around for so long that the opportunities to see them will grow less and less every year. It is disappointing the Hoffmans are out of the band, but I couldn't think of a better guitarist to put in there than Dave Suzuki. Jack Owen was in there but he has been replaced. The name of the new guitarist escapes me. - Tue, 26 Apr 2005 11:05am
Mutilashawn User Info... | Deicide just does absolutely nothing for me. Mindless Christian bashing just gets old, especially when it's through the medium of photocopied death metal. So clearly I couldn't name a member of Deicide outside of Glen Benton, even if I wanted to, because I have no interest in them. - Tue, 26 Apr 2005 11:54am
ML7Mike User Info... | it was fun and almost new in the early 90's but I agree, they got old fast. Deicide's S/t album will always hold a place in my heart though, but if it came out today Id hardly notice. Some great songs on that album, but its a greatness they never achieved afterwards. Id have to say, I never quite got over going all the way to vancouver in the rain, to see Deicide, Demolition Hammer and Cancer at The New York Theatre only to arrive at a dead venue with a CANCELLED sign on the door.. before the days of the internet of course.. Was a collosal waste of money for nothing :( - Tue, 26 Apr 2005 11:59am
Platoon User Info... | Oh shit, that is harsh Mike. I can understand any resentment you may harbour because of that experience. I have friends coming from as far away as Kamloops to see them, so hopefully this doesn't happen. That would suck an amazing amount. I know DEICIDE does not have the best track record for crossing the border to Canada, but the replacement of the Hoffman's supposedly took care of that, I guess only time will tell. For me, DEICIDE was one of the first Death Metal bands I got into along with Death and Carcass. So seeing them once is a must for me. I am a huge fan of their first four albums and their most recent one. I think Legion would still kick a lot of ass if it was released today. Legion seems to have set a bit of a standard in my opinion. - Tue, 26 Apr 2005 12:04pm
ML7Mike User Info... | nah no resentment.. was just a waste of time! haha.. If the internet had been around as it is today we would have known though.. - Tue, 26 Apr 2005 8:58pm
