Think twice before you shut down a venue" hmm...now lets simmer down here...i think what harry was getting at (and correct me if i'm wrong here)..is that the venues for all ages shows are getting scarce, and we all know it just takes a few drunkards wielding beers out front of places like the little fernwood..and poof..gone for many years...there are alot of really responsible promoters in this town who continually loose money putting on really great shows for people of all ages to see..fuck i love swillin beers too...but you gotta watch it at these venues..we just went through a near closure of the garry oak room because of some kids "responsible" drinking...perhaps it was the "beer guzzling" part you used to promote your all ager that might have been a wee bit over the top for some people who are passionate about keeping these venues for all to enjoy....just a thought...now where did i put my beer....? - - Fri, 9 Jul 2004 11:25pm | ||

How about everyone comes to the show and posts their opinions afterward instead of fighting about it before? Either way, I'm gonna have to agree that we don't want alcohol to become a problem.
