| Big fat J | if you want a real bitchin' thick distortion with lots of bottom end that can pick up pinch harmonics faster then your mom can get a bad case of crabs, go spend a few bucks on danolectro FAB TONE, so fuckin fat!. real powerful with a stupid amount of gain. you can find one er 2 down at island collateral (i cant spell) that pawn shop ny old nicks for $60 or so. i cant remember the exact price. but go get one. - Wed, 4 Jun 2003 7:06am | ||

| ender60 User Info... | thats funny clouds!! but I can answer your question easily!! I use the rats exclusively to boost my leads. you know!! punch the volume--drive--and sustain up enough to make the leads stand out like they should?? anyhow,,, my amp has two channels, one clean--one dirty, like most guitar amps nowadays!! now here's the thing!!! when I set up the rat to boost my dirty channel it works just dandy, but when I switch to the clean channel, the levels on it are way wrong!! I either get instant feedback or rip some one's face off with excess volume!! thats where the second rat comes in. I use one to boost the dirty channel and the other for the clean channel!! hope that clears up some of MY?? confusion for you!! :-) - Wed, 11 Jun 2003 1:15pm | ||
