what kinda sound quality does it get? - Fri, 21 Feb 2003 9:49pm
Dave The quality is same as a CD except if you record live - then the compression and quality are above what you'd hear on a CD. I use mine like an MP3 player, record CD's to it and also record band practices to see where I'm screwing up, etc. - Sat, 22 Feb 2003 12:48pm

okay its a sony mz-r91, it has the screw on aa batery adapter for extended batery life plus I have the adapter for pluging it into the wall, I don't have a mic but it has all the jacks, including optical line in, mic and lineout/ear phone{you can change the settings on the menu} , I have a bout 14 used mds and 18 unused mds, plus a big plastic box to carry them, I also have a belt pouch to put the md player in that you can clip to yourself or on your belt, it also holds a few mds
it doesnt have the extended play function, the sound quality is perfect and good live recordings if you can get either an md mic (which are expensive but really good ) or you can just plug it into a mixer output
the things is without the screw on batery pack is a little larger and thicker then an md but not a lot - Sat, 22 Feb 2003 2:12pm
