tinner User Info... | I just might sell separately, were you to make me a good offer. As for more info, ask me anything you want to know about it. Oh yeah, the bass comes with a hard case, patch cord, and tuner (the tuner doesn't work that well) - Tue, 16 Nov 2004 5:01pm
Tinner User Info... | Okay, I'll sell them for $550. Any takers? - Tue, 23 Nov 2004 5:47pm

The Cause User Info... | where was the bass made? how old is it? any modifications? whered you buy it? is it a real fender or just fender style?? willing to trade? - Sun, 28 Nov 2004 7:44pm
Tinner User Info... | Sorry, let me clarify here, The $150 I was quoting was for the question of if I'd sell the amp separately. SO $150 for just the amp. For the last post, the bass was made in Mexico, it's about 3 1/2 years old, bought at Guitarworks in Calgary, no modifications, and YES, it is a REAL fender, not fender style. I'm in debt and need to sell these among other things (check http://www.simbs.com/phpclassifieds/detail.php?siteid=1573 if you're interested in a Rocky Mountain Element) so I'm open to any offers. - Wed, 1 Dec 2004 1:50pm
Gagg Steph 388-0098 Messages Posted: Artist/Designer/Manager | Sorry but a Mexican fender is not a real Fender in my opinion. And a bass with a crack anywhere on it is not in excellent shape. - Wed, 1 Dec 2004 3:47pm
cooper User Info... | HAhaha, "not a real Fender". Good one. - Wed, 1 Dec 2004 5:18pm
Tinner User Info... | Well, gagg, if you saw how small the chip (not crack) actually was, then you would probably agree that the bass is in excellent shape. Since the bass is made by Fender and says Fender on it, I don't know how much more Fender it can get. Hey Cooper, are you still interested in either of them separately? - Thu, 2 Dec 2004 12:27pm
Pierce User Info... | I agree with Gagg. Why do you think a Mexican made Fender costs so much less than an American Fender?. About 800$-1000$. The Fender company was born and bred in USA. And a small crack or chip in my opinion would definately drop the "Excellent" condition. But dont mind me. I am finnicky (sp?) about that kind of thing. For anyone looking for a Bass and Amp, this is a good deal. I have had mexican fender gear, it is as good as what you pay for. I never had a problem. If i had the $$$ right now i would buy it as the ultimate practise set-up. I will be surprised if it isnt sold already. Email me if it isnt. - Thu, 2 Dec 2004 3:23pm
The Cause User Info... | how much for just the bass? - Fri, 3 Dec 2004 8:00pm
Rory User Info... | Fender has not been made by Fender since '64. Mexican, U.S, Japanese who cares. - Sat, 4 Dec 2004 11:58am
* User Info... | If we want to get specific here, then a Fender is not a real Fender unless THE LEO FENDER was in charge of operations, which Rory is correct in saying 1964. Then Leo started and ran Music Man for around the first 5 years. Music Man's guitars, basses and amps from this period are all superb. Then Ernie Ball bought the company and just like Fender Instruments, it all went downhill, quality wise that is. Then Leo started G&L Instruments and the same thing went on with them. Then Leo died. - Sat, 4 Dec 2004 12:03pm
