The Cause reformed late this summer, with a new attitude, and new sound. Previous internal band fighting often broke into heated, not to mention harmful slurs, against band members close family and friends. Often play fights would insue which ended with no one playing. It wasn't until bassist and lead singer John broke drummer James' ribs until the band admitted to themselves they had a problem. Band members spent three long months in relationship therapy and today feel stronger that ever. Known for their stage antics, and up-beat dance pop, The Cause grew to have a cult following of thousands, before their internal struggles became to much of a distraction to make music. The Cause will return in October with the three original members, John, James, and Mark, and a new guitarist Landon. The band contiues to perfect new material, and look forward to hitting the road in the near future. James' ribs never did heal correctly and he still has trouble breathing, but thats rock n' roll.
