_Griphin_ User Info... | I heard both tracks, they sound basic, chances are they might not even use both (for instance, the second track "Better (Demo)" sounds looped). Seems silly if that's the new music. - Sat, 18 Feb 2006 6:26pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | From http://www.fmqb.com/Article.asp?id=176252 Guns 'N Roses fan sites are abuzz with the appearance of new music from the band's long, long, long-awaited new album, Chinese Democracy. A new studio version of the song "I.R.S." mysteriously leaked online yesterday, along with a clip of another new tune entitled "Better." However, GNR management immediately descended on the Web, requesting the removal of all links and references to the files. The song "I.R.S." has made a brief appearance in the past. In 2003, then-New York Mets catcher Mike Piazza mysteriously received a copy of the tune and played it once on New York DJ Eddie Trunk's nationally syndicated show. GNR's management later contacted Trunk with a cease-and-desist and eventually retrieved his copy of the CD itself. Axl Rose himself spoke to Rolling Stone last month, promising that Chinese Democracy would drop this year. There were also recent rumors that Rose played the entire album at a New York club in the wee hours of the morning earlier this month. - Sat, 18 Feb 2006 6:44pm

_Griphin_ User Info... | Apparently the production costs already have cost over $10 million to produce the album. What I don't understand is does it really cost that much money to produce an album? Also, Axl sure looks more retarded these days. - Sun, 19 Feb 2006 1:10pm
StarShip B.O.B. User Info... | The album only cost $500,000 to make. The rest went up Axl's nose. - Sun, 19 Feb 2006 2:39pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | WHAT HAPPENED TO AXL ROSE?!? BTW: Found it... Guns N' Roses New Material Leaked courtesy: http://www.xfm.co.uk/Article.asp?id=77644&spid= It appear that a new Guns N' Roses track from their ridiculously long awaited new album ‘Chinese Democracy’ has been leaked online, sparking rumours that the record may be released in the near future. The new song entitled ‘IRS’ was first played on New York radio station 102.7 WNEW by rock DJ Eddie Trunk last August, but since they stopped it being played there has been no word of any release or new album material from the Guns N' Roses management. Now however, a version of the track has surfaced online on numerous Guns N' Roses fansites and messageboards. The song includes the chorus “Gonna call the President, Gonna call myself a Private eye, Gonna need the IRS, Gonna get the FBI” and sounds not dissimilar to vintage GNR (albeit slightly less sleazy) despite the fact that singer Axl W. Rose is the only original member left in the band’s (ever changing) line up. The leak and rumoured emergence of other new tracks ‘Madagascar’ and ‘The Blues’ have all sparked rumours that the new GNR album ‘Chinese Democracy’ will get a release sometime in the near future, with some reports claiming that the album will finally hit stores in November this year. Rose – a near recluse - has been working on the new record for over seven years and the record has >>reportedly cost $13 million to make so far. - Sun, 19 Feb 2006 5:55pm
