| Lucky Bar User Info... | Some people know who this band is, some don't. Those who do are fucking STOKED. They have been around for 20+ years, (their first single came out in 1983), and have never taken 'time off'. They have put out 11 full length albums, and 50+ releases inclusing singles, EPs, and collections, and that is not including solo albums by members, collaborations with other bands, or side projects. It's their second or third time coming to North America EVER, and Vic is the last stop on the tour. Check this out: so far, we've sold advance tickets to people flying in from Edmonton, Santa Cruz California and Houston Texas for the show. | ticklefish User Info... | shhhhhh...let them all believe they suck. There are enough NMA fans out there to pack the joint as it is, no need to get any new ones. Many years ago, back in 1990 or so, the band I was in at the time in Calgary nearly scored the opener show to NMA playing at Mac Hall Ballroom at the UofC, but in the end, Ninth Configuration scored the gig. I remember they were also the guys that people/ radio used to get mixed up with The (Australian) Models and The Models from Edmonton as they were all on the scene the same time. Amazed and happy to see they're still at it, although with all the huge 80's revival goin' on, it's not a BIG surprise.
