Does anyone know if they'll be allowing cameras inside? And also, approximately what time it might be over. Thanks! - Tue, 20 Apr 2004 6:04am

While I'm at it, doors at 7:30pm. A small amount of tix will be sold when the doors open, first come first served.

Contrary to some of the gossip on this board, we sold almost all of the 1500 tickets when they went on sale in Feb; 1500 is the capacity of the curling club. There is no guest list for the show, nor was there one for any of the shows across Canada.

FYI, there will also be a small amount of tix sold at the Commodore shows starting at 7:30pm each night.

Usually the sets last about 90 minutes, if it's any indication of the first 3 gigs I've heard so far. I'm hoping to get a ticket at the door, but I work till 8:30 that night. Ya know, the one thing that's bugged me about when tickets when on sale, I didn't know where they were being sold nor which date they went on sale.

Ah well, if all else fails, I'll sit outside and listen to the gig :) BTW Malcolm, how come ya left Ditch?!? - Tue, 20 Apr 2004 11:28am

I think you've omitted one of the most frequently asked questions about this show - Will There Be a Beer Garden? - Tue, 20 Apr 2004 11:56am

There's always a beer garden there, least there was when I saw Motorhead and Mix Master Mike (seperate gigs). But be wary of the narley draft beer they sell :) - Tue, 20 Apr 2004 12:02pm

I left Ditch to move to Vancouver to book shows full time in Vancouver, Victoria and other western CDN cities. I now also work a bit at Zulu because I thought that after all those years at Ditch I would miss the record store. Looks like Ditch is doing well without me so that is good..

I think the curling club is running their own beer garden, but that's nothing to do with me. - Tue, 20 Apr 2004 2:08pm

Heh... Rob is not, a leader of men! Apparently Malcolm, Ditch ain't selling local CDs anymore, I dunno if this is true, but it bums me out nonetheless... - Tue, 20 Apr 2004 5:55pm
