My interest lies in the thrashy-er side of the genre (So I started out liking super intense, faster bands like--MDC, The Neos, DRI) There is an astounding resurgence in 1980's flavoured Hardcore. Some of the best Hardcore albums I've ever heard have been released within the last 2 years. They would include: Tear It Up-"Nothing to Nothing" (Frankly,anything by these guys is wholeheartedly recommended.)
