My old, made here in Esquimalt (1980, 8 people in shop!) Real Larrivee, sorry they stopped being good when he moved to van around 83-84 Simply a stunning instrument. Ward Ensemble User Info... | looks like someone turned the guts of a piano into a bass guitar. - Thu, 11 May 2006 10:19pm Edited: Thu, 11 May 2006 10:19pm
Curmudgeon Rocker User Info... | Holy Jeez that sure looks like Pete Spriggs. I'm sure even Stanley Clarke would be shaking in his boots (bootsie?) if he saw one of those. Mine would have to be a tie between the sousaphone and the theremin, or a good old Arp 2500 with wide-range ocsillators going through Leslie speakers. /slide whistles are kinda neat too. - Fri, 12 May 2006 7:23am Edited: Fri, 12 May 2006 7:25am

\m/ User Info... | I want a 1972 limited edition q-resonant molotov theremin with a nano-synth bladder noise filter. I can't wait for L&M to get these in stock. - Fri, 12 May 2006 11:29am

You Enjoy Myself User Info... | I'd like to get a Chapman Stick http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chapman_stick - Fri, 12 May 2006 10:04pm
hijakt User Info... | I've always been sort of a balls-to-the-wall cockrocker at heart and so the one guitar that really brings a gleam to my eye is the wangcaster. Rig that up with one of GWAR's splooge systems and you've got a wetdream come true. - Fri, 12 May 2006 10:37pm
KnifeGhost User Info... | I'm happy with my guitar action. POS Tele knock-off by Peavey. Got it for less than $300 new, and I still love the old girl. Right now my ideal collection would also include an Ibanez Jet King (blue?), a Danelectro baritone, and a reissue Fender VI bass/guitar. Any one run through a pair of Hot Rod Deluxes, or something similar. I'm a man of modest desires. Although if I wanted to get heavy into the uber-clean 80s pop stuff, I'd get a Roland JC-120. - Fri, 12 May 2006 11:26pm

hang.the.dj User Info... | Every night as I fall into a dream, I envision a gleaming, sparking, shining TRIANGLE. It is my dream, my desire, my one and only yearning to be able to get my paws on one of those babies. Yes, I admit, t'is my dream to play the one, the only, triangle. I'd like to see this baby rip up the stage! - Sun, 14 May 2006 1:02am

Aidan Logins User Info... | I love my Danelectro '56 U2 re-issue. Mostly because I got it new for free, and it's got purple. But for DREAM I'd have to go with a Stick like You Enjoy Myself. Emmit Chapman Stick... a 10 string one. - Sun, 14 May 2006 6:39pm
Curmudgeon Rocker User Info... | My woman plays the meanest skin-flute. Scott Henderson's saxophone deserves some kudos. And castanets, which I practice as I sunbathe - in the nude - while good friends walk slowly in a circle around me, clapping their hands in time, "feeling the groove". Saw Tony Levin use the Chapman stick in what's still one of my top five all-time gigs: King Crimson, Queen E, '84. - Sun, 14 May 2006 8:07pm Edited: Sun, 14 May 2006 8:10pm

XY_xSATAN User Info... | ^^ My MH-250nt ESP/LTD and my H-1000 Delux. ESP/LTD Both with 81/81 at 18v with LED . That would be AWESOME Mike ! :) But I'll believe it when I see it . - Mon, 15 May 2006 6:43pm Edited: Mon, 15 May 2006 6:47pm
Curmudgeon Rocker User Info... | XY_xSATAN's drum kit is now my dream instrument. /with roto goodness. Is that by any chance a 16" mounted tom, on (our) far left? If it is - that's very funky of you. (Usually they're on the floor.) I seem to spot one cymbal - on our furthest left - and then maybe a ride, underneath, that appears to be angled away from the kit. - Mon, 15 May 2006 8:39pm Edited: Mon, 15 May 2006 8:54pm
RockNRollRobbieBoyTheRockNRollRockStar User Info... | Some sweet Axes XY - could give those drums a wack if ya like. I think I remember now... - Mon, 15 May 2006 11:19pm

Curmudgeon Rocker User Info... | Still the all-time coolest guitar: SG. /wish I could conjure a photo of J.P. Jones's triple neck acoustic (with that ukelele thing sticking out of the top). And, lest I forget - possibly the really truly dreamiest instrument of all time: the mellotron, best used (I think) by Wakeman in the "Space Oddity" song, or Fripp's playing on "Starless and Bible Black" lp, particularly the track "Trio", which I believe was a live recording in Amsterdam. - Thu, 18 May 2006 11:51pm Edited: Thu, 18 May 2006 11:52pm
ScumFuckBondage User Info... | I got to play it about a year ago. Devistator bass #2. Fucking awsome. - Fri, 19 May 2006 12:09am

RockNRollRobbieBoyTheRockNRollRockStar User Info... | Yeah I saw the clinic at Spectrum with Terry Bozzio playing the above kit. He's genius on the brink of being a tortured perfectionist, but he entertained us by himself for at least 2 hours. - Sat, 20 May 2006 3:07pm
Curmudgeon Rocker User Info... | Yeah that was a cool clinic - "Black Page" and all. Kinda wierd to hear him dissin Simon Philips. I howled (inside) when he had problems with my question about blast beats, and then later made a reference to the crowd about death metal while gesturing towards me. /final honest-to-god dream instrument: Eugene Chadbourne's electric rake. - Sat, 20 May 2006 4:58pm Edited: Sat, 20 May 2006 4:59pm
