| Jay Watts User Info... | Holy shit, I've never listened to this BELT band before, because I've never had any reason to, and I still don't, but I'm bored. This is absolutely absurd! There's a reason why Victoria's most exciting band in "entertainment history" (????) hasn't been signed - this sounds exactly like a fake band created for a teen movie or a sitcom... A band like Creed or Nickelback gets big, and you think to yourself "god, shitty band, where the hill did they come from?", and a bit of digging will present you with twenty to thirty fucking atrocious bar-rock bands playing their bizarro white man blues rock metal rack-effects processor shlock and paying illiterate talent agents to write their preposterous bios... Is this applicable for the rest of the arts as well? Are there seventy-thousand ex-police officer hacks chipping away at genre fiction for every Tom Clancy? I'd preface all of this with "but this is just my opinion", but it's fairly obvious anyways... I've never really heard Tegan and Sara before. I've seen an interview with them.
