| OnATrip | Hey buddy,if you are actually serious then here is some advice, don't buy downtown. Other than that, when I was in Aruba I paid $20 for four grams from a rasta man in front of a casino. Since there was three of us stoners together and we had a few hours to burn we thought it would be no problem to smoke it all (as we were headed to a different country in a few hours and I did not want to carry it with me). It was still a little bit moist, as it was picked recently, but still burned perfectly. It tasted kind of like a stale old roach joint, and I found myself thinking how so many rasta's smoked this pot with this shitty flavour. I soon discovered why, after a joint and a half between three of us, none of us could take another toke. It was the shittiest tasting pot I have ever tried, but I have never been that stoned in my entire life off so little. I felt like I had just down 10 buckets in as many minutes. I managed to sneak it around and it lasted a week. At the end of the bag i found myself wishing for one taste of some good ol BC bud. | Curious George | All right, to defend Toker, I do agree with him. I grew up in the Lower Mainland, and the weed that I got/get out there consistently beats most weed that I get in Victoria. In fact, I still make the occasional run out the my old hometown to pick up an ounce or two. You CAN get good weed out here in Victoria, but you pay a lot more than you would on the mainland. And besides, most of the really good weed in Victoria is actually grown on Saltspring. That being said, if it gets you high, who the fuck cares? Smoke it if you got it. And one mans favorite strain is not nessasarliy anothers, like booze , different varieties possess different effects, and not all people process TCH in the same way. It is not nessasarily all about the crystal on the bud, real weed lovers will tell you that they stopped getting blind high after high school and many of us smoke for taste now a days. Another thing I'd like to point out is that those wonderful highs you experienced in your youth, in your hometown, were really anmazing I'll bet ..but memory and tolerence have alot to do with why your stones are different today..try stopping for a month and then I'll bet you love any weed you smoke. It breaks down this way...the majority of really good weed goes south..if your not a grower or personally hooked up with one then you currently smoke AA grade weed..I don't care who you are Toker..most people in this provence never get to smoke AAA BC buds. Vancouver, Victoria, please, there are excellent growers everywhere..if you know them.. and if you even buy your buds once on the street your a hump and you deserve what you get. I have personally smoked bud and hash all over the world, I have worked in all of the major Victoria, and Nanaimo grow shops, and spent many years under the lights, as well I'm a Californian who spent summers in the fields of his uncles farm in Humbolt County.....and where ever I go, when I tell stoners that I'm from BC their eyes glaze over and they begin to drool as the ask me," Did you bring any of that fine BC bud with you?"....It's all BC bud friend..go live in Manatoba for a while and then we will talk. Elemental: if you have 'Jack' then we may know some of the same people, or i know you. it's one of my seven strains but not the favorite. Hawaiian Punch is da bomb, but most of you will never know of it.
