Correct me if I'm wrong, but would soundgarden be a killer live club if the stage was at one end of the place instead of in the middle? not a slag just a thought... - Fri, 7 Feb 2003 11:51pm

Fuck that the wonderful thing about soundgarden is that its in the middle. Bands like us can walk either way and harass the people into listening to us. *ps we are a ska band and I am pissed outta my tree, I'm sure I'll regret this tomorrow" - Sat, 8 Feb 2003 12:08am
The Voice Of Pleasin' One thing I've noticed from The icehouse and a club in Calgery is nightclubs/strip clubs always have a great set up to watch bands play, considering the main intention is to give everyone a good view insted of a bad narrow set up I like Lucky once in a while but if it's a full house, I feel like I'm in a line up the whole time, nevermind the fact that the bathroom is next to the stage. Soundgarden has a pretty good set up. Though I still miss the limit. - Sat, 8 Feb 2003 12:22am
Anonymous YES they should change the set up. Stage at the far end and an extra pair of speakers facing the front at about half way. As it is now unless you sit right in front of the stage you cant hear the mix well at all and its too loud right in front. This other setup would allow an even mix throughout the building at a morre controled volume an mix. - Sat, 8 Feb 2003 12:25am

Well I've shotgunned most of a 12pack of AGD. I hope those replys make sense in the morning. There are speakers on both ends of the bar, right? I think the sound ther e is awesome. Sorry if I was too drunk to make that clear. - Sat, 8 Feb 2003 12:34am
brad i totally agree...thats the first thing i thought when i walked into the place. iv seen a few shows with no one really at the far end either...seems a waste. - Sat, 8 Feb 2003 12:55am
Anonymous the sound is awesome at soundgarden (with the exception of being a little on the loud side sometimes.but I like that) The sound on stage could be better though. since the back wall is so close the sound is richocheting off the back wall right back at you and drowning out the monitors. - Sat, 8 Feb 2003 11:30am
Anonymous you guys are idiots - Sat, 8 Feb 2003 11:43am
Anonymous They JUST built that stage! It sounds awesome, it's big enough, it allows for a big enough crowd to be right up front. You can't see the bands too well from either side of the room, but big deal, get in the action. Quit yer bitchin. - Sat, 8 Feb 2003 12:48pm

Interesting ideas guys!
It's good to hear things like this..there are a couple of reasons why the stage isn't back there but it is something we are looking into..work would have to be done first in order to faciliate it but we are thinking of doing something else with the back area...I will keep you all posted but any constructive criticism is more than welcome! - Sat, 8 Feb 2003 12:49pm

Cheers! - Sat, 8 Feb 2003 7:15pm
Anonymous looks good the way it is and the sound is perfect !oud!!!!!! no need to make it more expensive to run they have enough problems as it is paying everything.Unless they get the work for free. - Sat, 8 Feb 2003 9:00pm
kevin this saterday there is no place to be but lucky..trust me - Sat, 8 Feb 2003 10:13pm
Manimal I agree, the current location of the stage could be improved. One perk from where it is now is the sound is only loud in front/middle so you can still hang in other parts of the bar and socialize. I suppose the better spot would be in the rear which seems like wasted space except for the bar which is never open. - Sat, 8 Feb 2003 11:16pm
long john hey you panty waists, why don't you build a fucking stage your selves? quit fucking whining, hire that guy from the guess who (everyone knows he builds decks for a living) and get some real stage action going on. in the mean time, in know you guys have nothing better to do than fuck your own moms. i love you all, lets do a show together sometim
