| RSBF | The Zone Band Of The Month Showcase will be on Thursday February 27th at Steamers........... and, Threat Of The End has just been confirmed to open the night for Undergo. I have to say as well that I listened to Undergo's mp3's and I'm very impressed and totally happy to be playing with these guys. | Adam | I think "morning call" is one of the best undergo tunes I've heard. Very solid catchy melodies Al! (though I think the vox could come down a bit in the mix). There is a little too much screaming for my iking, but that's just preference. The only thing I can say really bugged me was the scream/harmony (I think nathan sings it) in the "to catch you" lines in the end of the bridge. In my opinion this ruins the song as far as having and commercial appeal and just outright sounds anoying and dumb. Lose that line, replace it with a nice harmony and you might have a winner guys.. However Undertow and Undergo mean two completely different things ;) Adam, I'm not sure which mix you heard? | MiltonBradley User Info... | That was a lot better than what I was expecting. I saw undergo play live a couple times a while back and I didn't much care for them. It still isn't my style of music, but it is certainly commercialy viable. Excellent song structure, and the screams help to take away some of the unoriginality of top40 music. We all respect his decision and I await for the person to reply "He decided not to because you suck!" ;) As for the post above this I'm not sure if you're implying that we post about ourselves or that bands on this board in general do. | RSBF | i think the vocals are magnificently 'trademark' and the more i listen to vocals and the lyrics - they grow on me. Undergo has their own trademark sound and i like it.
