hi i am dan. i have friends. one of my friends is named gardner and i have known him for over 15 years. he is a very peaceful and extremely happy guy . his idea of a holiday was going to spain to help clean up the oil spill. nice guy hey? any how , a young man named dean who was wearing a brown leather jacket at the three inches show thought it was a real cool idea to hit my friend gardner with a glass in his face and make him bleed for no apparent reason. hey dean , you should be really ashamed of your self . sober up and please seek therapy for you anger management problem. if gardner was an asshole like you, you would be in jail so take the blue pill and wake up in your bed. merry christmas to all and to all a good night. - Sat, 1 Feb 2003 3:53am

Anonymous So being nice means you also have to be a wuss? - Sat, 1 Feb 2003 1:15pm
Anonymous NO - it means you are above the crap!
Some people seem to think you can only solve problems with violence.
Take a breath and use your mind - it shocks the hell out of morons who know nothing except using their fists! - Sat, 1 Feb 2003 3:53pm

Fair enough. But when someone glasses you in the face, that pretty much rules out any hope of democratic discussion of any type. - Sat, 1 Feb 2003 5:36pm

Hey Fuck-o Danner Wise and I used to skate together in the mid 80's. He had good style then and he's still got it now. The fact that he didn't "kick anyone's ass" and instead spoke up for his friend in here is about as fucking punk as it gets as far as I am concerned. What Dan has chosen to do instead of perpetuating a never ending cycle of violence and stupidity is far better and I think we could/should learn from it. Kudos Dan (you fucking hippy! haha)

I still want that photo we talked about Dan. See you at the Jak'Uzi show next weekend at Thursday's. - Sat, 1 Feb 2003 6:15pm
2 sides every story has two sides eh.

99% of the time anyhoo.

*thinks* if I bug a guy, and he tells me to leave him alone.repeatedly, and i don't.what will happen??

just a simple question.

i know what I would have done if it was my friend, but alas I know only what others have said about this.all 3rd hand. - Sat, 1 Feb 2003 9:00pm

Punch the guy, shove him away, don't smash a glass in his face. That's ignorant. - Sat, 1 Feb 2003 10:08pm
Anonymous Correct me if I'm wrong - but if someone assaults you, can't you sue the pants of them, (if you have witnesses) - assuming they're wearing pants? - Sun, 2 Feb 2003 12:39am
Anonymous that'd be wrong.

in the USA maybe, not up here. - Sun, 2 Feb 2003 8:16pm

I am a law student, and yes you can sue in civil law for damages. But this only works if financial damages are incurred. If in the fight expensive clothes/possesions were destroyed, or if you needed to pay a dentist or weren't covered by medical and needed to pay for a doctor, you can get these retributed to you. Up to $5000, then you hit the big courts and it will take years to get a settlement and it is usually not worth it. - Sun, 2 Feb 2003 8:33pm
Spark that shit However, even if nothing expensive is concurred, you can still go to victim services and get some money for "physical and emotional distress" - Sun, 2 Feb 2003 8:43pm

Yes approximately 200-400 dollars. You need to fill out a police report though. - Sun, 2 Feb 2003 8:51pm

Anonymous anyone who resorts to bottling someone is a fuck and deserves what he will get. If u support a fuck like that then u must be the same - Fri, 7 Feb 2003 1:50pm
beazlbub man thats just too brutal ,he musta really pissed this dude off to make him smash a bottle in his face but either way its wrong ive seen the aftermath of this and it aint pretty. if ya have a problem with someone why wouldnt you take it outside and use your fists instead of using a weapon?im not sayin violence is the answere but sometimes i guess its gotta be done though i find just walkin away and ignoring the problem a better solution ,its too bad ppl have to resort to violence all the time to resolve their differences id rather forget about it and move on cause there r far better things to do than beat the shit outta each other all the time, its a never ending circle and im sure whoever it was that hit this dude will also get the same by someone else and as we all know this will start another incident, too bad but its true id rather kick back and drink a few than be involved in an incident that will only start another one plus havin to watch your back all the time bites, but hey i guess thats life, anyways have a good one(b) and see ya online - Fri, 7 Feb 2003 3:47pm
